Đức Minh General Hospital Joins “Marching in the Footsteps of Heroes” & “Green Border Journey” 2025
On March 22, 2025, the medical team from Đức Minh General Hospital had the honor of participating in the “Marching in the Footsteps of Heroes” and “Green Border Journey” (3rd edition – 2025), organized by the Hà Giang Tourism Association. This meaningful journey aimed to pay tribute to national heroes, explore history, and spread patriotism.
A Journey of Remembrance – Igniting the Flame of Patriotism

During the program, the team embarked on a 6-kilometer march from Thanh Sơn Hamlet to Cốc Nghè (Thanh Thủy Commune). Along the way, participants had the chance to visit historical landmarks, including:
✅ Pinh Village – known as the “Capital of Soldiers”✅ Frontline Field Surgery Station – where wounded soldiers were treated during wartime
✅ Âm Phủ Waterfall & Mùa Xuân Trench – significant sites from the fierce Northern Border Defense War (1979–1989)
✅ Two newly discovered cannons in Cốc Nghè Hamlet, believed to be aimed at Enemy Point 1508, standing as a symbol of sovereignty and resilience

Tribute to the Past – Honoring National Heroes

As part of the program, the team offered flowers and incense at the Heroes Memorial Temple on Point 468, a site marking some of the most intense battles to protect Vietnam’s northern border. In addition, the group participated in a tree-planting initiative in Cốc Nghè Hamlet, contributing to a green protective belt for environmental preservation.
